Onward!

May 20, 2026 Wednesday.  Well kind of... On my way out of town I've stopped at a shop to have my diamond plate box in the back removed and my first diesel heater removed to make room for diesel heater I have now.

I'll not go far with the wait here at the shop I will be surprised if I make 50 miles today.  Funny how that kind of thing would have sent me into orbit just a few years ago.  Thank goodness not today.  I really feel this walkabout was needed for me to grow in so many areaa... not to mention. I like seeing new places.

Here's a few photos of Tubby.

Enjoy the journey, Linda

5/15/26 Does this look like a guilty dog?

She looks guilty to me.

I had taken out a serving of frozen ravioli and some left over homemade spaghetti sauce out of the freezer to make my meal for the evening.  While preparing one part of my meal my sweet loveable was secretly devouring most of my frozen raviolis.

So what's for dinner at Tubby tonight?

Sauteed ravioli with fresh bell peppers, onions, fresh tomatoes and wilted lettuce salad.

It was great!

5/12/26. Polident has a learning curve

Well each season of life has its challenges.  Some you win... Some you learn.
It's the devil!

Did your dentures come with your name in them?  Just wondering.

Polident - it should say in the dictionary.  Glue in which you place inside your dentures so that you can have the utmost pleasure of putting WAY to much on your dentures.

Never done that?  Well let me tell ya... I can't say that.

I was in a hurry to get Buggy to the shop so I shot some polident on my denture, stuffed them in my mouth and ran out the door.  As I was about to put her in reverse I realized I had not only glued my teeth to my lips, I glued my tongue to the top plate and some how glued the back of my plate to my tonsils.

Needless to say I was late to the shop but it gave everyone a great laugh for the day.

Living my best life, Linda

5/11/26. Clown Motel

Welcome to The Clown Motel!  It is located in Tonopah NV.
NOOoooooo! Just No!

Since I'm staying in this little town having Buggy repairs, doing DIY projects on Tubby and such.  It would be a good time to stay 14 days here at the BLM so I'm not traveling faster than my money and I get time to explore this little gem of a town.  If you like rock hunting you would like it here (well except for that dang Clown Hotel).

Yes, I went in: bought a sticker and almost ran out the front door!

Creepy!

Until next time, Linda

5/9/26. Did I ever tell you about dragging a b*mb 😟

On my way from Nogales AZ to Bullhead City NV to see my Niece, Sharon Marie and have my teeth pulled. I had an issue...

I tied down as normal when I left Nogales.  I have always tied down my 2 - 2 gallon gas cans, 20lb propane tank and 5 gallon diesel fuel can with ratchet straps. I did the same this time but...

At some point in my travels I noticed no one passing me.   Mmmm I'm at about 35 mph at the top of the hill and still no one passing... So I pull off.  As I'm pulling off I hear SOMETHING.  You know that feeling right?

When I walked to the back of Tubby. I was proud to see my rachet straps still holding but nothing was on top of my cargo box!  Yep. I'm dragging 4 gallons of gas, 20lbs of propane and 3 gallons of diesel... BTW I had to abandon on the side of the road one very badly leaking gas can but the rest?  I threw them in Tubby, walked the fur babies and hit the road again.

This is how I tie them down now.  Hopefully tomorrow I will get the box off.  With a new diesel heater I need a wider box.  Stay Tune.

Bomb averted.

Until we meet again, Linda

May 3, 2026. New BLM

New campsite for a few days.  Need to rest the Buggy.  It's hard work pulling Tubby.

Yes I was right there... Pulled off the side of the road battling with low blood sugar.

The last photo I took in Bullhead City, NV

Left Bullhead City at 10:04 yesterday.

Flew through Las Vegas and could NOT find a sticker for Tubby's ceiling.

We are now on BLM land and it's beautiful!  Can't wait to explore!  Of course that's after searching down the loose connection on the solar system, checking out how the new panels did on the drive and working on a few other minor things.

Im planning on pulling out tomorrow and heading for Death Valley and the sailing stones.

Until next time, safe travels.
